About Me

kerry photoBlogging and being online has always been about community building and networking. Through these networks friendships are built, trust is earned and word of mouth becomes the strongest recommendation one can make.

As “Crunchy Carpets” I have developed my brand and identity on my own blog, Twitter and Facebook.  I have seen for myself the power of social media and the effect it can have as part of a marketing campaign.   I have been able to build targeted and focused followers for a company that started with nothing.

I have consulted for several businesses that target working moms and busy lifestyles and have been featured on Vancouver Mom as one of the TOP Vancouver Mom Bloggers. I was an invited panelist at Northern Voice 2010 and 2011, and worked with Limelite PR on a panel of Mom Bloggers called ‘Harnessing the Power of Digital Mums, where we introduced PR and Marketing reps to the world of the Mom Blogger.

I have continued with my passion to connect bloggers and brand to this day.   I teamed up with a group of like-minded bloggers and social media professionals to brainstorm and produce monthly events where we ‘train’ bloggers on the finer points of working with brands.   We truly feel that brand and blogger relationships can go to the next level when people have a deeper understanding of online communication.

I understand how ‘network’ marketing works.  I understand that creating the right ‘voice’ in social media is crucial to developing a positive online brand for your company, product or self.   Marketing and Public Relationships today are more about the people behind the brands than the products themselves.

Let me take a moment of your time to show you how I can help develop your online personality.

Sincerely,

Kerry Sauriol
